Deep purple silk with green leaves and gold blooms worked across it, dense at the shoulder and looser down the leg. It looks like a garden photographed at dusk.

There is a gap in most wardrobes between what you wear at home and what you can be seen in. This closes it. It is cut as a real shirt: proper collar, buttons all the way down, a relaxed body that skims rather than clings. The trouser is wide and straight with an easy waist.

The gold is what makes it. It lifts every time the light moves, which is why this reads as an evening piece even though it is comfortable enough for a Tuesday afternoon.

Please hand back the same piece, unworn and with its tags on. We check every returned item. If it comes back worn, without tags, or isn't the original piece, we'll send it back to you and the exchange won't go through.

Would you rather have your money back? Post the piece back to us and we'll refund you in full once it reaches us. Return postage is yours on refunds. The doorstep swap is for exchanges only.
