Soft sage silk with butterflies woven into the cloth rather than printed on top of it. They surface when the light moves and vanish when it settles. The buttons are turquoise.

There is a gap in most wardrobes between what you wear at home and what you can be seen in. You change into something soft, the bell rings, and you end up talking to someone from behind a half-open door. This closes that gap. It is cut as a real shirt: proper collar, buttons all the way down, a relaxed body that skims rather than clings. The trouser is wide and straight with an easy waist.

Silk earns its place in the heat. It stays cool against the skin and moves when you do.
